A Note From Our Founder
Oleaviva began long before it became a bottle.
Some of my most cherished memories are gathered around a table, food shared slowly, with attention and care. I grew up in Sicily, between my grandmother’s kitchen and my grandfather’s olive trees. I still remember warm bread, fragrant from the oven, and a generous pour of olive oil. Wild oregano crushed between fingertips. It was simple, and yet it held a standard.
For years, I lived far from that rhythm. It was my training as an Olive Oil Sommelier that gave me a new lens and brought me back. I realized that olive oil carries the same depth as a great vintage wine: terroir, season, and intention. And yet, unlike wine, it rarely gets that kind of attention at the table.
I returned to our family groves with one question: what would it mean to offer olive oil the way it deserves to be received? Not as a commodity. As a living ingredient, with its own pairing language, its own rituals, its own place at the table.
That is what the Oleaviva Club is. A membership built not just around delivery, but around knowing what to pour, on what, at what moment. I wanted to share that knowledge with every person who opens one of our bottles.
Excellence is not inherited. It is chosen, season after season.

The Meaning of Oleaviva
Oleaviva is feminine.
A fusion of Olea (olive) and Viva (alive), it reflects the living essence of a nectar that is pure, powerful, and worthy of care. Like a woman, it holds strength and delicacy, resilience and grace, in perfect balance.
True extra virgin olive oil is never static. It breathes. It evolves. It carries the energy of the land it comes from.
The tree on our label is our Tree of Life. It represents the quiet respect for the ecosystem that makes each harvest unique. Around our centuries-old trees, biodiversity thrives: wild herbs, limestone soil, and the salt-mist of the sea wind.
This living environment shapes the character of the oil as much as the fruit itself. When you pour Oleaviva, you are not just adding flavour. You are bringing that landscape to the table and everything it carries with it.

The Standards of Excellence
Terroir-Driven
Our trees grow in the Monti Iblei, shaped by limestone soil and sea air. They are not irrigated; they rely only on rain, wind, and time to produce a fruit of rare intensity.
Harvest before Volume
We choose an early harvest to preserve the structure and aromatic clarity of the fruit. Yields are naturally lower, but the character is naturally higher.
Integrity in Craft
Cold extraction within hours of the harvest. No shortcuts, no compromises. We protect the liquid’s integrity from the branch to the bottle.
Restraint over Excess
Small-scale by choice. No unnecessary expansion. We prefer to do one thing perfectly than many things adequately.
The Table as Ritual
We believe the way you set the table shapes the way you live — and the way you pour your oil says something about how you inhabit your meals. Knowing which oil opens a dish, which one finishes it, how to present it when you host: this is the culture we want to build around Oleaviva. Not just great oil, but a language for using it.

A Commitment to the Land
Sustainability, for us, is not a claim. It is an act of respect for the land that makes this oil possible. Our groves follow pesticide-free, regenerative farming practices — not because we need a certification, but because we would not have it any other way.
Our glass is designed to last or to be perfectly recycled. Every bottle is hand-wrapped in natural materials, not as packaging, but as the first gesture of care before a gift is opened. We intend to leave the world as vibrant as the oil we harvest.
