A breeze moves through the olive trees of Chiaramonte Gulfi. It’s early October, and the land is just beginning to shed the heat of summer.
The olives — round, firm, and fragrant — are Tonda Iblea, an ancient cultivar known for its elegance and strength.
Gran Cru is our purest expression of this landscape: a single-varietal oil, pressed from early-harvest olives grown in mineral-rich soils under the Sicilian sun.
On the nose, it offers notes of green tomato and aromatic herbs. On the palate: fresh almond, cut grass, and a soft, peppery finish that lingers with grace.
Natural and pure extre virgin olive oil reserved for our members. Cold pressed, and produced in limited quantity.

The Story
The sun is lower. The days are still.
In the Iblean countryside, olive trees heavy with fruit cast long shadows on dry earth.
This is where our Reserve Blend begins, a bold selection of native Sicilian cultivars, grown on organically farmed groves kissed by the sun and shaped by the Mediterranean breeze. Tonda Iblea remains at its heart, joined by Biancolilla and Nocellara to enrich the profile with softness, complexity, and depth.
Crafted in small batches and lightly filtered for clarity, the Reserve Blend is vibrant and structured:
on the nose — ripe tomato, wild herbs, and basil;
on the palate — green almond, sweet almond skin, artichoke, and a whisper of green apple.
A lingering peppery finish adds energy and elegance.
This is the oil you leave on the table and refill when no one’s looking, intense and expressive.

The Founder’s Touch
Behind the Bottle
Each detail of Oleaviva — from the silhouette of the bottle to the botanical motifs on the label — was personally imagined and designed by our founder Chiara Rizza. Her intention was to create an olive oil that speaks not only through its taste, but also through its form.
The Gran Cru bottle, with its ivory tones and golden accents, reflects purity and elegance. The Reserve Blend, deeper in color, evokes structure, depth, and bold character. Both are adorned with painted botanical illustrations — echoing the biodiversity of the land, the wild herbs and native blooms that thrive among the olive trees, and the aromatic notes that rise from every pour.
