Founder’s Note
Some of my most cherished memories are gathered around a table, sharing food, stories, and laughter.
In my family, meals have always meant more than nourishment. They are rituals of connection, a way of showing love, and a celebration of life’s simplest and most profound pleasures.
I grew up surrounded by the scents of my grandmother’s kitchen. Mornings filled with slow preparations, her hands working with patience and grace. Outside, my grandfather tended the land with equal devotion, his vegetable garden, his olive trees.
One of the purest joys I remember was her warm, freshly baked bread, still fragrant from the oven. She would drizzle it with golden extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle it with wild oregano, and in that moment — that scent, that bite — was everything: care, place, love.
For many years, I lived far from Sicily. I explored different paths, worked across diverse industries, and embraced the energy of new cities and challenges. But the more I traveled, the more I understood the true richness of what I had left behind
Eventually, I found my way back to the land, to the roots, to the rhythm of nature.
I trained to become an olive oil sommelier, deepening my understanding of this extraordinary ingredient. And from that fusion of past and present, tradition and knowledge, Oleaviva was born.
Oleaviva is my tribute to a way of life where time moves with the earth, not against it. Where every drop of oil is crafted with intention to nourish, to connect, to care.
Today, as I watch my own children run barefoot through the same fields, I see those stories continue. The taste, the smells, the joy — passed down, carried forward.
